In October, our Save the World Club produces the annual Lama Mountain Harvest Festival. Heartfest is becoming an eagerly anticipated local tradition.
The youth create a thrilling haunted barnyard, cider pressing, barter and raffle of local goods and services, fortune telling, bake and pickle sale, hayride, fine art auction, and a wood fired pizza party. Entertainment includes: pie eating, kid vs. goat, costume contest, and live music.
Heartfest is a family friendly community celebration. The festival showcases and supports the Save the World Club’s impressive achievements in sustainable agricultural. Proceeds from the event also benefit Roots and Wings Youth Enrichment, a nonprofit providing experiential programs for Roots and Wings Community School.
