2009 was the 25th consecutive year of summer camp hosted by Bud and Barb. Although the they officially founded the Sangre de Cristo Youth Ranch in 1985, Dr. Wilson started providing free youth enrichment programs on the ranch over 60 years ago.
We celebrated a quarter century of transformative summers with the first camp reunion last Labor Day. Campers past, present and future enjoyed a weekend of meeting new friends, designing T-shirts, playing with the horses, goat roasting, floating down the Rio Grande, pizzas from the horno, and of course: working on the ranch.
This year, the Sangre de Cristo Youth Ranch is growing stronger than ever. We’re proud of our legacy, and excited about the future. Please take a look around this site to see what’s in store for the next 25 years, and how you can be a part of it.
